Acaecida el 9 de Febrero en el Hospital Universitario de Pennsylvania.
El Prof. Kligman fue uno los grandes maestros de la Dermatología moderna y contribuyó grandemente con el desarrollo y el mejor entendimiento de nuestra especialidad.

Dear Friends,
It with great sadness to inform you that our colleague and dear friend Albert Kligman passed away this morning. He was admitted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania a few days ago with a heart attack.
Lori Kligman and the children were day and night with him. In accordance with his wife Lori Kligman I pass this information to all of you with the kind request to inform the medical community, such as the University of Pennsylvania, AAD, ADA, SID, Congressus Mundi Dermatologiae, History Society etc.
There will be a cremation and a family reunion at the beach among an inner circle of friends sometimes in the future.
I am sure there will be an Academic Memorial Service in the University of Pennsylvania also in the future.

Con gran pesar recibo la noticia del falecimiento de Dr. Kligman.
Estuve con el maestro en el Congreso Internacional de Estética en Brasil y tuvo la oportunidad y felicidad de conocerlo personalmente y poder presenciar sus brillantes conocimientos.
