Abstract
The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has caused coronavirus disease-2019, known as COVID-19, now a pandemic stressing millions of individuals worldwide. COVID-19 is a respiratory infection that may have dermatologic signs and systemic sequelae, a devastating public health challenge. Ways to prevent exposure to this virus need to be evaluated and implemented, including enhanced efforts at defending the cleanliness of the air being breathed.
